Project Management and Sales
I have the pleasure to work in the exciting world of urban cable cars. This proven technology opens up an entirely new, independent level of sustainable public transit. My responsibilities are to develop and manage functional urban cable car projects within the sales area of the Benelux and Germany.
My role involves developing a business development strategy for (urban) cable cars. My responsibilities are to identify and follow-up on potential future cable car projects and collaborate with colleagues about the best strategies to move forward.
Furthermore, I am project manager on several projects within the sales area. The sales process involves:
- Finding out the needs of the client and potentially advising on the right individual solution
- Setting up initial technical design using cable calculations and EliteCAD
- Determining local legislation and applicables laws
- Calculate the pricing for the cable car system
- Take part in the bidding process for the project and negotiate the best solution for the client
- Create an overview of all necessary permits and documents for a safe public operation
- Apply for needed permits
- Manage the projects' timeline and budget both internally (technical departments, production, assembly, technicians and logistics) and externally (client, responsible authorities, sub-contractors and construction companies)
- Hand-over the cable car system
